We accept new and gently used Halloween costumes nearly year round, but the need rises considerably each September/October. Our program continues to grow.
Most any Halloween costume size infant to adult are welcome - we don't accept dance costumes - but do accept just about any other costume and accessories that you may find at your local costume shop, retailer or on-line website.
We ask that you think of the kids when making your donation, is what you are donating something that your own children would wear?
If the answer is YES, Bring it on!
We've found that our biggest need is for elementary and middle school children (age 9-12) - but as we grow our needs across the board rise as well!
We visit some wonderful neighborhoods and care organizations and have found that at a number of the shelters that we visit, the Mom's get totally into the spirit too. Often they are desperate to keep their kids close as they navigate tough times in their lives.
Keeping their kids close and celebrating Halloween together is a great way to make childhood memories even when facing adversity.
We love love love that we can play a small part in that!
